Solar charging Nikon D2X batteries in the wild   |   posted by Janis Miglavs

It seems that the upper end Nikon and Canon cameras are not designed for use in any wilderness. Without a wall outlet, the camera manufacturer’s equipment cannot charge the battery. Solar was the only way to go for my month in the remotest parts of Ethiopia.
